Just found a quote worth remembering.
"To have reduced heresy to its origin is to have refuted it." -St. Jerome (Adv. Lucif. 28)
It sounds strikingly similar to Cardinal Newmann who said, "To be deep in history is to cease to be Protestant."
Both are great quotes.
